PRESS ACCREDITATION NOTICE – Round Table “Research and innovation in Italy, Portugal and Spain in a global context” (Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, 23 November 2017)

A round table on “Research and innovation in Italy, Portugal and Spain in a global context” will be held on Thursday, 23 November 2017, at 10:00 a.m. at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.

As is customary, the Italian, Portuguese and Spanish COTEC Foundations will take stock of the status, performance and prospects of each country’s research and innovation system in the 2017 Reports, comparing them with European and international scenarios.

The Director General for Innovation and Research at the Farnesina, Fabrizio Nicoletti will take part in the event, along with Luigi Nicolais, President of the COTEC Foundation, Claudio Roveda, Director General of Italy’s COTEC Foundation, Jorge Portugal, Director General of Portugal’s COTEC Foundation, and Susana Manueco of Spain’s COTEC Foundation, in addition to representatives from public institutions, banks, companies and Chambers of Commerce.

Discussions will be chaired by Antonio Marcello Marinaro of the Sole 24 Ore newspaper. The proceedings will be brought to a close by Fabrizio Nicoletti, Director General for Innovation and Research at the Farnesina.

The accreditation badges must be collected in person at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, at the right-hand side of the main entrance, beginning at 9:15 a.m.
