On 10 and 11 May 2018 Rome’s Grand Hotel Parco dei Principi will host the OSCE Counter-Terrorism Conference 2018 entitled “The Reverse Flow of Foreign Terrorist Fighters (FTFs): Challenges for the OSCE Area and Beyond”, promoted by the Italian OSCE Chairmanship for 2018.
The event will be attended by numerous Italian and foreign government officials and international scholars and experts, reflecting the extent to which this project is shared and supported at international level.
The Conference’s Opening Session, on 10 May (9:00-10:15 a.m.), and Closing Session, on 11 (5:00-5:30 p.m.), will be open to the press.
The Opening Session will begin with remarks by the Undersecretary for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Vincenzo Amendola and the Director of the Office of the OSCE General Secretariat, Paul Bekkers.
The Closing Session will schedule remarks by Alessandro Cortese, the Foreign Ministry’s Deputy Director General for Political Affairs and Security and Rasa Ostrauskaite, OSCE Coordinator of Activities to Address Transnational Threats.
Journalists, photographers and TV crews interested in following the event are requested to apply for accreditation by 6 p.m. on Tuesday, 8 May, in one of the following two ways:

The entrance for the press at the Centro Congressi of the Grand Hotel Parco dei Principi, is on via G. Frescobaldi, 5, and will be open in the following time slots:
– Thursday, 10 May, from 8:00 to 8:30 a.m. to attend the Opening Session;
– Friday, 11 May, from 4:30 to 5:00 p.m., to attend the Closing Session.
