Tomorrow, 17 December 2019, as part of the initiative promoted by the Italian Cooperation service to provide medical assistance in Italy to Libyan paediatric patients, the second group of minors from the area of Benghazi travelling on an aircraft of the Ministry of Defence will land at the Ciampino Military Airport, where they will be welcomed by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Marina Sereni.
The patients suffer from serious blood diseases and will be hospitalised at the Bambino Gesù Children’s Hospital with which the Italian Cooperation service cooperated to implement this initiative.
Journalists, photographers and TV crews interested in covering the arrival are kindly requested to apply for specific accreditation by no later than 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, 17 December
