Information Note – BE-ITALY: Country Attractiveness Survey – The perception of productive Italian excellence abroad (live streaming on Tuesday 18 May at 10.30)

On Tuesday 18 May, at 10.30, the webinar “The attractiveness of Italian manufacturing excellence in foreign markets” will present the second edition of “BE-ITALY, Indagine sull’attrattività del Paese (Survey on the country’s attractiveness)”, conducted by the IPSOS Institute.

The event will be introduced by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Luigi Di Maio, and by the Director-General for the Promotion of the Country System, Lorenzo Angeloni.

Nando Pagnoncelli, the President of the IPSOS Institute, will present the results of the survey which, besides analysing Italy’s international reputation and image, has given ample space to the perception of “Made in Italy”, Italian brands and sectoral excellence, to assess whether and how the effects of the pandemic have produced significant changes.

A round-table discussion moderated by Jole Saggese, Editor-in-Chief of Class CNBC, will follow, with speeches by the President of the ICE Agency, Carlo Ferro, the Vice President of Confindustria, Barbara Beltrame Giacomello, and the President of the Leonardo Committee, Luisa Todini, in a dialogue with the representatives of the trade associations representing Italian manufacturing excellence in the mechanics, fashion, agri-food, sports goods and pharmaceutical sectors. Manlio Di Stefano, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs responsible for internationalisation, will take the floor at the end of the event.

The event will be streamed live on the website www.esteri.it
