On Monday, 7 June 2021 at 14:30, the press conference to launch the 20th edition of the International Food Exhibition Cibus 2021 will be held at the headquarters of the ICE Agency and streamed live on www.esteri.it.
The programme includes speeches by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Luigi Di Maio; the President of ICE-Agenzia, Carlo Ferro; the President of Federalimentare, Ivano Vacondio; the President of Fiere di Parma, Gino Gandolfi; and the CEO of Fiere di Parma, Antonio Cellie.
CIBUS, together with Tuttofood Milano, is the leading trade fair for the Italian agri-food industry, an internationally renowned showcase for businesses and an iconic event for the Made in Italy brand.
Cibus 2021 – which will take place from 31 August to 3 September – is part of the process for revitalising the Italian agri-food industry after the lockdown due to the Covid pandemic, as it is the first event of the year for the entire sector. The fair will showcase new products that should hopefully drive the recovery of domestic consumption and exports, thus enabling foreign operators to return to Italy and visit the main Italian companies operating in the sector.
