REMINDER – Media accreditation notice – Event to launch Made in Italy Days (Farnesina, Sala Sassoli – 30 May 2022 – 11:30 AM)​

On Monday, 30 May 2022, from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM, the Sassoli Room at the Farnesina will host the event to launch “Made in Italy Days”, which will open with remarks by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Luigi Di Maio.

The event, jointly sponsored by the Farnesina, the ICE Italian Trade Agency and Amazon, will kick off an initiative to promote Made-in-Italy products offered by Amazon in 8 key markets – Italy, Spain, France, Germany, United Kingdom, United States, Japan, and the United Arab Emirates – opening a 4-day special promotional window concomitantly with Italy’s celebrations for Republic Day (30 May – 2 June).

The event will mainly focus on the special promotion of thousands of the most iconic products certified in the categories that best represent the excellence of Italian-made products in the world and falls within the scope of the Farnesina’s global strategy based on Italy’s Pact for Export to improve the access of Italian SMEs to international e-commerce platforms with the support of the ICE Italian Trade Agency.

The opening remarks by Minister Di Maio will be followed by contributions by the President of ICE, Carlo Ferro and the VP of Amazon & Country Manager Italy and Spain, Mariangela Marseglia. The second part of the meeting will schedule testimonials by companies that successfully benefited from the showcasing of Made-in-Italy products jointly promoted by ICE and Amazon.
