THE DAYS OF DIGITAL MADE IN ITALY

The event launching “The Days of Digital Made in Italy” will be held at the International Conference Room of the Farnesina on Friday 19 May 2023, from 10 a.m. to 11.30 a.m.
The initiative, jointly organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation with ICE Agenzia and Amazon, aims to support and enhance our “Made in Italy” products in the world, in conjunction with the Republic Day celebrations, with a special promotion of thousands of Made in Italy-certified products through specific “virtual showcases” of Amazon, which will be active from 29 May to 2 June in 11 countries: Italy, Spain, France, Germany, Poland, Sweden, the Netherlands, Great Britain, the United States, Japan and the United Arab Emirates.
The event will be opened by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Antonio Tajani, followed by speeches by the Minister of Agriculture, Food Sovereignty and Forestry, Francesco Lollobrigida, and the Minister of Enterprise and Made in Italy, Adolfo Urso.
The proceedings will continue with speeches by the ICE President, Matteo Zoppas, and Amazon Vice President – Country Manager – Italy and Spain, Mariangela Marseglia.
In the second part of the event there will be a Round Table discussion – moderated by SKY TG24 journalist Lavinia Spingardi, with the participation of Anna Bortolussi, General Manager Marketplace Europe, Brand Owners and Seller Success Amazon Europe – in which there will be some interesting testimonies of companies that have successfully benefited from the Made in Italy showcases within the framework of the agreements between ICE Agenzia and Amazon.
The proceedings will be streamed live on the Farnesina YouTube channel. Journalists, photographers and TV crews interested in covering the event in person may apply for accreditation by no later than 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, 18 May, via email to the following address: accreditamentostampa@esteri.it (Tel: +39 06/3691.3432 – 06/3691.8573- 06/3691.3078 – 06/3691.8210), attaching the following:
for representatives of the Italian media:
– copy of an identity document;
– letter of assignment from the media of affiliation or – in the absence of the latter – copy of professional identity card;
for representatives of foreign media organisations, not accredited at the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs:
– copy of an identity document;
– letter from the media of affiliation;
– Verbal Note released by the Embassy in Rome of the country of the media organisation represented.
For representatives of foreign media already accredited at the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the request must be sent with a copy of an identity document.
Accredited journalists, photographers and TV crews can have access to the Farnesina Building from the main entrance, left-hand side, on 19 May from 9:00 to 9:40 a.m.
