Press Accreditation Note “Annual Meeting with Fulbright Program Scholars” (International Conference Hall, Monday 5 June, 10:00 a.m.)

PRESS ACCREDITATION NOTE

On Monday 5 June 2023, at 10:00 a.m., the Italian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Antonio Tajani, and the Acting Chargé d’Affaires at the United States Embassy in Italy, Shawn Crowley, will open the Institutional Session of the Annual Meeting with Fulbright Program Scholars, also dedicated to the celebration of the 75th Anniversary of the Fulbright Program in Italy.

The event will take place at the International Conference Hall of the Farnesina.

Every year, the Fulbright Commission organises such a meeting for Italian scholarship holders leaving for the United States and for US scholarship holders who have come to the end of their term in Italy, as an opportunity for orientation, exchange and acquaintance.

This will be followed by a group photo and the ceremony for the presentation of the “75th Anniversary of the Fulbright Program in Italy” award to four alumni of the Program, who will be awarded for their projects on relations between Italy and the United States.

The event will be open to the press until 11:15 a.m.

Journalists, photographers and cameramen can attend the event in person by sending the relevant accreditation request by Saturday 3 June, 5:00 p.m., to:
