 The Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs supports enterprises: the evolution of Subsidised Finance for Internationalisation 

Farnesina, 18 July 2023, 9:30 – 10:30 a.m.

 

On Tuesday 18 July 2023, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., the event “La Farnesina a sostegno delle imprese: l’evoluzione della Finanza Agevolata per l’Internazionalizzazione” (“The Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs supports enterprises: the evolution of Subsidised Finance for Internationalisation”), jointly organised with SIMEST S.p.A., will be held in the International Conference Hall of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The initiative, which is part of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ action in support of enterprises, will provide a detailed illustration of the wide range of new subsidised finance instruments launched under Fund 394/81 and intended to support the export and internationalisation processes of Italian enterprises.

The event will be opened by the Italian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Antonio Tajani, followed by speeches by the Managing Director of SIMEST, Regina Corradini D’Arienzo, the Vice President of ABI, Guido Rosa, and the heads of representatives of the associative and entrepreneurial world, such as Confartigianato, Federlegnoarredo, CONFAPI and CNA.

In the second part of the event, selected company testimonials, beneficiaries of subsidised loans, will share their experience of approaching subsidised finance and the benefits obtained from using these instruments.

In closing, the President of the Italian Trade Agency – ICE, Matteo Zoppas, and the President of SIMEST, Pasquale Salzano, will illustrate the SIMEST – ICE collaboration agreement also for the promotion of new Subsidised Finance instruments.

For representatives of Italian press organisations:

  • copy of an identity document
  • letter of assignment from the newspaper of affiliation or – in the absence of the latter – copy of professional identity card.

 

For representatives of foreign press organisations, not accredited at the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs:

  • copy of an identity document;
  • letter from the newspaper of affiliation;
  • Verbal note of the Embassy in Rome of the country of the press organisation represented.

For representatives of foreign press already accredited at the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the request must be sent with a copy of an identity document attached.

Journalists, photographers and cameramen may enter the Farnesina from the main entrance, left side, from 08:45 to 09:15 a.m.
