PRESS ACCREDITATION NOTE
IV Trilateral Cooperation Meeting on the Upper Adriatic Sea
Ancona – 10 July 2023
On Monday, 10 July, the IV Meeting of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Italy, Croatia and Slovenia on cooperation in the Upper Adriatic Sea will take place in Ancona at the Mole Vanvitelliana. The meeting will focus on the topics of connectivity, the economy of the sea, the environment and internal security.
Attending the meeting will be the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Antonio Tajani, the Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of the Republic of Croatia, Gordan Grlić Radman, and the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of Slovenia, Tanja Fajon.
Discussions will begin at 10:30 a.m. in the Sala delle Polveri, after an official photo at 10:20 a.m. The meeting will feature the signing of a joint declaration. and, at approximately 12:00 p.m., the three ministers will hold a joint press conference at the Auditorium Orfeo Tamburi.
Talks will continue in Numana with a working brunch attended by the Austrian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Alexander Schallenberg, as a special guest.
Journalists, photographers and cameramen interested in covering the joint press conference and the event’s focal moments (reception and official photo) in person may apply for accreditation by sending their request no later than Friday, 7 July to accreditamentostampa@esteri.it (tel. 06 3691 3432 -3078, 8210 or 8573).
Only substitutions will be permitted after this deadline.
The accreditation procedures are as follows:
For representatives of Italian press organisations, the following documents will be required:
- copy of an identity document;
- copy of professional identity card.
For representatives of foreign press organisations not accredited at the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the following documents will be required:
– copy of an identity document;
– letter from the newspaper of affiliation;
– Verbal note of the Embassy in Rome of the country of the press organisation represented.
For representatives of foreign press already accredited at the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the request must be sent with a copy of an identity document attached.
The accredited press may enter the Mole Vanvitelliana from the Porta d’Oriente (follow directions to the Museo Omero).
Press badges must be collected in person, on presentation of a valid identity document, at the Mole Vanvitelliana, at the press accreditation desk in the foyer of the Auditorium, as follows:
- from 8:30 a.m. to 9:15 a.m., photographers and TV operators (for reception and official photos)
- from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m., journalists (for press conference)
The Press Room will be arranged in the same room as the Joint Press Conference (Auditorium).
Accredited press coming from Rome will be provided with a shuttle service (subject to availability) from Rome (Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Piazzale della Farnesina) departing strictly at 6:00 a.m. on 10 July and returning from Ancona (Mole Vanvitelliana) at approximately 3:00 p.m. Interested parties must submit their request by e-mail and will receive an acceptance reply by Saturday, 8 July.
For requests to position satellite vehicles, the number plates and model must be communicated by e-mail to accreditamentostampa@esteri.it (tel. 06/3691.3432-8573-8210) no later than Friday, 7 July. The vehicles will be positioned from the morning of Sunday, 9 July.
Submitting the above-mentioned personal data means authorising the use thereof in accordance with Italian Legislative Decree no. 196 of 30 June 2003 and the GDPR (EU Regulation 2016/679) by the Directorate General for Public and Cultural Diplomacy of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the data controller, for strictly professional purposes and/or purposes related to the performance of the event in question.
