XVI CONFERENCE OF
ITALIAN AMBASSADORS IN THE WORLD
ROME, 18-19 DECEMBER 2023
On Monday 18 and Tuesday 19 December 2023, the Farnesina will host the Conference of Italian Ambassadors in the World, an opportunity to discuss Italy’s international action, which will bring together over 130 heads of Italian diplomatic missions throughout the world, as well as many Government Ministers and foreign important figures, including the EU Commissioner for Climate Action Wopke Hoekstra, the Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs, David Cameron, and the US Secretary of State, Anthony Blinken (via conference call).

The opening and closing sessions will be open to the press – which will be able to follow the event in a salle d’écoute (listening room) with audio-video link (Aldo Moro Hall) – and streamed on the Farnesina’s YouTube channel.
The opening session will take place on Monday 18 December from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. with addresses by the President of the Republic, Sergio Mattarella, and the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Antonio Tajani.
