Press accreditation note – National Conference for the creation of a Cyber Capacity Building Ecosystem – Farnesina – 2 July 2024

On Tuesday 2 July 2024, the “Conferenza Nazionale per la creazione di un ecosistema di cyber capacity building” (National Conference for the creation of a cyber capacity building ecosystem) will take place in the International Conference Room at the Farnesina.

The institutional session, running from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m., will be open to the press.

Speakers will include Italy’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Antonio Tajani, Minister of the Interior Matteo Piantedosi, and Director General of the National Cybersecurity Agency Prefect Bruno Frattasi.

The aim of the conference, which brings together all the Italian entities active in the field of cybersecurity, is to encourage a discussion aimed at the international projection and promotion of Italian know-how through an in-depth examination of the operational and geographical priorities, public-private partnership and international projection of the Italian and European cyber system.

Journalists, photographers and cameramen interested in covering the institutional session may apply for accreditation by sending a request by Monday 1 July at 5 p.m. to accreditamentostampa@esteri.it (tel. 06 3691. 3432 – 8573 – 3078 or 8210), attaching the following:

For representatives of Italian press organisations:

  • copy of an identity document;
  • letter of assignment from the newspaper of affiliation or – in the absence of the latter – copy of professional identity card.

For representatives of foreign press organisations, not accredited at the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs:

  • copy of an identity document;
  • letter from the newspaper of affiliation;
  • Verbal note of the Embassy in Rome of the country of the press organisation represented.

 

For representatives of foreign press already accredited at the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the request must be sent with a copy of an identity document attached.

The accredited press may enter the Farnesina from the central entrance, left side, from 8:15 to 8:45 a.m.
