NEW AFRICA MEASURE
Financial Instruments for the Internationalisation of Italian Enterprises

On Tuesday, 23 July 2024, starting at 11:00 a.m., the event “New Africa Measure: Financial Instruments for the Internationalisation of Italian Enterprises” will be held at the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, organised jointly with SIMEST S.p.A.
The event, which will be opened by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Antonio Tajani, will aim to present the new subsidised finance measure by SIMEST worth EUR 200 million (known as the Attanasio Quota) under Fund 394/81, supporting the internationalisation of Italian enterprises, particularly SMEs. The new measure is reserved for companies already established or intending to establish a presence in Africa, exporting companies or those sourcing from the African continent, as well as those in related supply chains.
Speakers will include the President and Chief Executive Officer of SIMEST, Pasquale Salzano and Regina Corradini D’Arienzo, the President of Italian Trade Agency Matteo Zoppas, and the President of Confindustria Assafrica & Mediterraneo Massimo Dal Checco.

For representatives of Italian press organisations:
- copy of an identity document;
- letter of assignment from the newspaper of affiliation or – in the absence of the latter – copy of professional identity card.
For representatives of foreign press organisations, not accredited at the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs:
- copy of an identity document;
- letter from the newspaper of affiliation;
- Verbal note of the Embassy in Rome of the country of the press organisation represented.
For representatives of foreign press already accredited at the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the request must be sent with a copy of an identity document attached.
The accredited press may enter the Farnesina from the central entrance, left side, from 10:15 to 10:45 a.m.
Submitting the above-mentioned personal data means authorising the use thereof in accordance with Italian Legislative Decree no. 196 of 30 June 2003 and the GDPR (EU Regulation 2016/679) by the Directorate General for Public and Cultural Diplomacy of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the data controller, for strictly professional purposes and/or purposes related to the performance of the event in question.
