Export Focus: Enterprises and Territories of Southern Italy Towards the 2026 National Export Conference
(Bari, 16 June 2026)
On Tuesday 16 June 2026, the event “Export Focus: Enterprises and Territories of Southern Italy – Towards the 2026 National Export Conference” will be held in Bari at the Congress Centre of the Nuova Fiera del Levante, under the chairmanship of the Minister of Foreign Affairs Antonio Tajani.
The initiative, promoted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and implemented in collaboration with Italian Trade Agency, CDP, SACE and SIMEST, and with the support of Unioncamere and Confindustria, represents the second of three stages dedicated respectively to Southern, Central and Northern Italy, in preparation for the 2026 National Export Conference, which will take place in Milan in December.
The Bari conference is dedicated to the regions of Apulia, Basilicata, Calabria, Campania, Molise and Sicily and aims to gather the needs of the productive system in order to build, together with local associations and enterprises, an increasingly targeted strategy to support internationalisation and the promotion of Made in Italy worldwide.
The proceedings will begin at 11:00 a.m. with the opening address and framing speech by the Minister of Foreign Affairs Antonio Tajani, who will also close the plenary session. The various working sessions will focus in particular on the diversification of export markets and on the role of innovation as an enabling factor for the international projection of the production system. During the conference, experts from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Italian Trade Agency, CDP, SACE and SIMEST will be available for direct meetings with companies to explore export support tools and provide assistance in developing their presence in foreign markets.
On this occasion, a double edition of the “Growth Lab” initiative will take place, dedicated to enhancing startups and innovative SMEs and to promoting internationally outstanding cultural and Made in Italy entities representing local territories.
Proceedings will be open to the press.
