‘Slush’: Startups meet investors in Helsinki

The ‘Italian mission to Slush’ was a project by the Italian Embassy in Helsinki and the Italian Trade Agency (ICE) in Stockholm to enable 11 Italian startups to officially attend a major international event for startups and innovation in Helsinki.  Twenty thousand participants, including 1,800 big investors, filled the Messukeskus Convention Centre where ‘Slush’ was held on 4-5 December. The startups presented their projects and took part in a pitching and B2B session with representatives of companies in many sectors of the innovation industry, including Microsoft, Elisa, Finavia, Tieto, Wärtsilä, TBWA and Almamedia.
