NATO: Ambassador Bisogniero meets Italian parliamentarians

The main themes on the NATO agenda, with a particular focus on dialogue with Russia and the ability of the Atlantic alliance to address the challenges from the South, were discussed at a meeting in Brussels between the Permanent Representative to NATO, Ambassador Claudio Bisogniero and some members of the Italian delegation to the NATO Parliamentary Assembly.

The group of parliamentarians – which included Honorables Formentini, Bianchi, Iovino, Sodano and Senators Anastasi and Paroli, led by the President of the Italian Delegation, Honorable Luca Frusone – were visiting Brussels to take part in the institutional activities of the Parliamentary Assembly committees. The meeting was also an opportunity to promote Italian industry within NATO and discuss Italy’s contribution to NATO operations and missions.
