Prague: record trade volumes between Italy and the Czech Republic

Trade relations between Italy and the Czech Republic are very positive and have great growth potential, said the Italian Ambassador in Prague. Francesco Saverio Nisio, at the signing ceremony of a Cooperation Protocol between the Italian-Czech Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CAMIC) and the Chamber of Commerce of the Czech Republic (HKCR – Hospodarska komora Ceske Republiky) that took place at the Florentinum in Prague.

According to the Czech Statistics Office, trade volumes between the two Countries touched the historical record of 13 billion euros in 2018, with an increase of 3.3%, while Italian exports to the Czech Republic rose 5.4% peaking at 6.4 billion euros.

The new Cooperation Protocol was signed by the president of CAMIC, Gianfranco Pinciroli, and the president of HKCR, Vladimir Dlouhy, at the opening of the conference entitled “Consumer 4.0 – Global Trend in Retail”, which scheduled, among its keynote speakers: Alessandro Pasquale (CEO of Karlovarske Mineralni Vvody), Alessandro Zanotti (Digital Customer & Channels lead, Accenture Italy and Central Europe), Aleksandar Keselj (managing director of Ferrero-Czech Republic) and Leonardo Ferrandino (president Dr Max Pharma Group).
