Italian photographer participates in the International Photography Festival in Osaka

Paolo Pellegrin’s photographic exhibition entitled ‘Antarctica’ is showcased at Osaka’s “Kyotographie” International Photography Festival thanks to the support of the Italian Cultural Institute in Osaka. The exhibition is the result of a work the Italian photographer conducted in cooperation with a NASA expedition to document the impact of climate change on the Antarctic. Pellegrin, Rome-born and a Londoner for quite many years now, has worked for Newsweek and received several awards. As regards his “Antarctica”, he said:”It’s not only the absolute beauty of these landscapes, it’s the sensation of finding yourself in front of a presence that speaks of eternity. I knew I was looking at something exceedingly beautiful – like a Sistine Chapel of nature – a beauty that is hard to grasp but which also contains something which is not well.”
