An intense music festival to disseminate Italy’s musical heritage in Poland has kicked off in Cracow at the initiative of the Italian Cultural Institute. Now at its second edition, the ‘Maggio musicale italiano’, co-organized with Polish music partners including ‘Cracovia Andante’, the ‘Cracow Philharmonic’ and ‘Cappella Cracoviensis’, and hosted at the Boleslaw, Rzeszow and Bielsko-Biala concert halls, opened on 9 May and will close on 21 May. The artists performing in the concerts include Massimiliano Caldi with the Smyczkowa Orchestra of Rseszow, Michele Cinquina, who will perform with Czubek, and the soprano Angela Papale, who will be accompanied by Fabio Marra at the piano, will close the event.
