The Italia Pavilion at the Riga Food Fair aims to present the companies symbolising the points of excellence of the Italian agrifood sector at the most important Fair of the Balkans. Italian Ambassador Sebastiano Fulci performed the Pavilion’s ribbon-cutting ceremony together with the Latvian Minister for Agriculture, Kaspars Gerhards, in what has become a consolidated cooperation between the two Countries. In fact, it is the fourth consecutive time that the Italian Embassy puts up the Pavilion.
Riga Food, which will be running until 7 September, is an important international showcase and this year it counts more than 700 exhibitors from over 70 Countries and estimates to have 40,000 visitors, between private individuals and professionals.
