New Delhi: Visions in the making, Italy at the India Art Fair

‘Visions in the making’ is the exhibition with which Italy participates this year at the India Art Fair in New Delhi, one of the most important events on modern and contemporary art in South Asia.  The exhibition, curated by Davide Quadrio and Myna Muckerjee, was inaugurated on January 30 by Ambassador Vincenzo de Luca and the director of the Italian Cultural Institute Andrea Baldi.

The project – a reflection between craft techniques in Italy and India to promote cultural contamination through creative dialogue and exchange of ideas – will remain at the fair until February 2, while a part will be exhibited at the Italian Cultural Institute until February 28.

Visions in the Making is the first chapter of a long-term initiative that will bring together Italian and Indian artists and that takes its cue from the creative collaboration between six Italian, and Asian artists: Amina Ahmed, Natascia Fenoglio, Stefania Galeati Shines, Marta Roberti, Shilo Suleman and Gopta Trivedi.
