The Ambassador of Italy to Australia, Paolo Crudele, visited Melbourne to attend the “Australian International Airshow & Aerospace and Defence Exposition” (AVALON 2023), the most important exposition of its kind in the southern hemisphere.
The day before the inauguration of the event, Ambassador Crudele, accompanied by the Consul General in Melbourne, Hanna Pappalardo, attended the reception hosted by the Governor of Victoria, Linda Dessau, together with delegations from the Secretariat General of Defence and the Air Force. The reception was also attended by Leonardo, a leading Italian company in aerospace, defence and security.
At the exposition, Ambassador Crudele had the opportunity to visit ICE – Italian Trade Agency stand and meet representatives of the Italian companies present, including Leonardo, Piaggio Aerospace, Gruppo Elettronica, Astra and Jobs Automation.
Ambassador Crudele also took the opportunity to attend the event launching the programme for 2023 of the Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Melbourne, to meet with the management of IVECO Australia and to visit Lavazza Australia’s training centre.
