The Italian Consulate in Brisbane and the Italian Cultural Institute in Sydney, in collaboration with the Italian Embassy in Canberra and the Consulate General of Italy in Melbourne, are pleased to announce the first Australian tour of Roberto Bolle, Étoile of La Scala Theatre in Milan, Principal Dancer with the American Ballet Theatre in New York and Guest Artist with the Royal Ballet in London.
After last year’s performance in Brisbane, Queensland, Roberto Bolle returns to Australia once again with the BIG (Ballet International Gala) production staged by young Australian dancer Joel Burke.
The two-hour show stars prima ballerinas and principal dancers from London’s Royal Ballet, American Ballet, Australian Ballet and Astana Opera. The programme includes solos and pas de deux from the classical repertoire and also features contemporary dance performances.

- 22 August 2023 – 7 p.m. – Queensland Performing Art Centre, Brisbane, QLD
- 26 August 2023 – 12.30 p.m. – Darling Harbour Theatre at ICC, Sydney, NSW
- 27 August 2023 – 7 p.m. – Hamer Hall, Melbourne, VIC
