The Abruzzo Region presented its tourism offer in Prague on Thursday, May 14, at a workshop co-organized by the Italian-Czech Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CAMIC). The initiative culminated in an evening event hosted in the halls of the Italian Embassy, during which Abruzzo’s companies presented themselves at a reception opened by greetings from Ambassador Alessandro Gaudiano and the Honourable Vojtěch Munzar, President of the Interparliamentary Friendship Group between the Czech Republic and Italy.
During the day, seven Abruzzo’s companies met with approximately twenty operators active on the Czech market in B2B sessions. The workshop opened with presentations by Cinzia Liberatore of the Abruzzo Region’s Office for Planning, Innovation, and Competitiveness of Tourism Policies; Tosca Chersich, Director of the Chieti-Pescara Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Crafts, and Agriculture; and Matteo Mariani, Secretary General of CAMIC, who presented key data for the Czech market, including Italy’s overtaking of Croatia as the preferred holiday destination. Participants in the mission included AbruzzoTravelling, DMC Marsica – Appennini for All, DMC Costa dei Trabocchi, T.O. Pallenium – Ferrovia dei Parchi, Civitarese Viaggi, Regent Hotel, and APTS.
