Moscow – Embassy encounter for Bolshoi and La Scala

In honour of the 50th anniversary of the first, historic performance of the musicians of the Teatro alla Scala at the Bolshoi, the Embassy of Italy in Moscow will host a concert on Friday of young Italian lyric artists and musicians of the Accademia della Scala, the Accademia del Belcanto Mirella Freni and the Bolshoi’s young lyrical musical artists programme. The event is intended to breathe new life into this vast patrimony of musical relations precisely by showcasing the best in new talent. A new programme of study bursaries will also be announced which will initially be intended for the students of the La Scala and Bolshoi academies, and later be extended to those of other renowned institutions.
