Italy’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Antonio Tajani welcomes UNICEF’s decision to transfer its Private Fundraising and Partnerships Division (PFP) to Milan

“UNICEF’s decision testifies to the importance of the city of Milan, beating heart of the Italian economy and crossroads of investments and opportunities. Milan is not only a city of companies and business, it is much more. It is a driving force in Italy for volunteering and activism,” said Tajani, adding that “UNICEF could not have chosen a more appropriate city than Milan to host its own fundraising division.”

Deputy Prime Minister Tajani also recalled that “UNICEF is a key partner for Italy in delivering humanitarian and development aid. From Gaza to Haiti, Italy strongly and concretely supports those who assist children in situations of great difficulty and suffering. UNICEF can count on my support as well as that of the Italian Government”.
