The Spanish authorities have reported that a third Italian woman is missing following the collision between two high-speed trains today in the Toledo region.
The situation regarding the Italian nationals involved is therefore as follows: five passengers were rescued in stable condition from the two trains involved in the accident. A sixth person is in hospital in Toledo; three others are considered ‘missing’. The Spanish authorities have begun the process of identifying the bodies.
