United States – The Italian crime genre on screen in Los Angeles

The Italian crime genre was featured in a film season organised by the Italian Cultural Institute in Los Angeles in collaboration with the University of Southern California (USC) School of Cinematic Arts. The aim was to showcase one of most controversial Italian genres of the 1970s, which more recently has been re-assessed by the critics, thanks in part to the films of Quentin Tarantino.
