The call for applications for the sixth Berlin Prize is available online, offering two young Italian architects the opportunity to spend a period of six months in Berlin (January-June 2026) for a training and professional experience at a selected architectural firm and to explore issues related to reuse and urban regeneration.
The Berlin Prize 2025 is promoted by the Directorate-General for Contemporary Creativity of the Ministry of Culture, the Directorate-General for Public and Cultural Diplomacy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and the Italian Cultural Institute of Berlin.
The winning architects participate in the cultural activities organized by the Italian Cultural Institute of Berlin and by Aedes Metropolitan Laboratory, scientific partner of the project, also through the presentation of their works at the end of the residency. The winners are also supported by a tutor with international experience, resident in Berlin, as well as an expert on the local professional scene.
