On 28 October, at Palazzo Borromeo, the seat of the Embassy of Italy to the Holy See, a presentation was held for the book Luoghi e percorsi del Giubileo. Le Chiese romane del Terzo Millennio (Places and routes of the Jubilee: The Roman churches of the third millennium).
Conceived by Ambassador Umberto Vattani and curated by Professor Andrea Bruschi of Sapienza University, this volume presents an ideal itinerary through twelve churches built in Rome between the Jubilee of 2000 and the Jubilee of 2025. These are buildings that have helped to ‘bring beauty’ even to those parts of the capital situated outside the Aurelian Walls, enhancing the city’s architectural and spiritual heritage.
During the event, speeches by His Excellency Mons. Rino Fisichella, Pro-Prefect of the Dicastery for Evangelisation, the Mayor of Rome, Roberto Gualtieri, and Ambassador Umberto Vattani highlighted the value of the Jubilee events, not only on a spiritual level but also for their contribution to the transformation and urban enhancement of the capital. The meeting was chaired by Professor Maria Vittoria Marini Clarelli.
