PRESS ACCREDITATION NOTICE
Arrival in Italy of a group of Palestinian students from the Gaza Strip
(Ciampino Airport – 31° Wing, 23 October 2025)
On Thursday, 23 October 2025, at approximately 7:30 p.m. (time to be confirmed based on actual departure time), two special flights will land at Rome Ciampino Military Airport carrying a group of Palestinian students and researchers from the Gaza Strip, who will be welcome to Italy thanks to scholarship programs. The initiative also includes a group of Palestinian citizens who will be arriving in Italy for family reunification.
Transport from Jordan will be carried out by the Guardia di Finanza. The aircraft are equipped with the support of CRUI, the Civil Protection Department, and the European Civil Protection Mechanism.
Journalists, photographers and cameramen interested in covering the arrival can apply for accreditation by sending a request with their name, surname, place and date of birth, telephone number, and a copy of their ID and professional card to accreditamentostampa@esteri.it by 12:00 noon on Thursday, 23 October 2025.
Those intending to park their vehicle at the airport (military zone) are also asked to provide the vehicle’s model and license plate number to the address above.
Accredited press representatives shall be at Ciampino Military Airport by 6:30 p.m.
