Presentation of the Guide to International Adoptions

(Farnesina, 15 January 2026)

 

On Thursday, 15 January 2026 at 3:00 p.m., the presentation of the Guide to International Adoptions, prepared by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in collaboration with the Commission for International Adoptions (CAI), will be held in the Aldo Moro Hall at the Farnesina.

The event will feature remarks by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Antonio Tajani, the Minister for Family, Birth Rate and Equal Opportunities, Eugenia Roccella and the Vice President of the Commission for International Adoptions, Vincenzo Starita.

The Guide aims to provide clear, comprehensive and effective guidance for Italian families embarking on this path of profound human and social significance. It also serves sector institutions supporting these families and operators within Italy’s diplomatic-consular network, with the aim of also reducing procedural waiting times.

Journalists, photographers and cameramen wishing to attend are request to register by 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, 14 January 2026, via the link https://portaleaccreditamento.esteri.it, attaching the required documentation.

Those already registered on the online portal who have received confirmation of their registration can access their profile and select participation in the event.

Accredited journalists, photographers and cameramen may enter the Farnesina through the central entrance, left side, from 2:30 p.m. to 2:55 p.m.
