Rome, 18th September 2020 – Export.gov.it, the new public portal dedicated to Italian companies to orient themselves in the export world and to access all the support services for internationalisation more easily, is now online.
Developed at the instigation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI) within the framework of the strategies promoted by the Booth of Directors for internationalisation, Export.gov.it will allow companies to orient themselves with a few clicks towards the initiatives and tools made available by the MAECI, the ICE Agency, SACE and SIMEST (and in the near future also by Regions and Chambers of Commerce) to accompany companies towards the opportunities offered by international markets.
A unique digital reference point, designed both for those who have to take the first steps and for those who are already present abroad but want to give an extra boost to their business.
“It is the first time that in a single portal the services and information platforms for export of MAECI, ICE Agency, SACE and Simest are made accessible to companies. The single portal Export.gov.it represents one of the tangible results of the Pact for Export and its philosophy of system that intends to accompany companies on foreign markets in a unified, simple, easily accessible and based on their concrete needs,” Minister Di Maio stated.
The portal also represents a project in continuous evolution – the Minister continued – we plan to extend its functionalities in the coming months to integrate the export services offered by all the Regions and the system of the Chambers of Commerce. Moreover, we will improve it with artificial intelligence tools able to guide companies in the magnum sea of services offered to them in order to face with greater awareness and support the opportunities offered by foreign markets.
The Pact for Export was signed last June 8th by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Luigi Di Maio, and currently has 45 members (Ministries, trade associations, sector federations and institutions of the Country System in support of internationalisation).
On the single portal it is possible to access the contents in a sequential way, following the various phases of export and internationalisation proposed by an intuitive 7-step path (prepare to export; identify target countries; plan market entry; promote and digitalise the business; negotiate the commercial contract; manage risk and liquidity; continue to grow) or select directly the topic of interest from the navigation menu.
