“Geometria dell’incanto. Frammenti di bellezza italiana” in Lyon

The photo exhibition “Geometria dell’incanto. Frammenti di bellezza italiana” (Geometry of Enchantment. Fragments of Italian Beauty) is currently underway in Lyon, organized by the Catholic University of Lyon (UCLy – Campus St-Paul) with the support of the Consulate General of Italy and the Italian Cultural Institute.

The exhibition was first organized in 2024 by the Italian Cultural Institute in Lyon. This new edition, open at UCLy, is enriched with additional photographs, for a total of fifty works. In his photographs, artist Valerio Corzani chooses geometry as a key to interpreting reality: natural landscapes and urban views reveal their forms through lines, angles, and unexpected symmetries.

Each photo is accompanied by a QR code for listening to a piece of music, which ideally complements the atmosphere of the work. At the exhibition opening, Corzani – accompanied by Erica Scherl – performed a bass and violin concert during the screening of a selection of photographs.
