Export Plan. EUR 150 million approved to support the internationalisation of 285 companies, including the first three operations under the “USA Measure”

The Facilitation Committee, chaired by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, today approved 295 concessional loans managed by SIMEST, amounting to nearly EUR 150 million in support of 285 Italian companies.

These include the first three operations under the “USA Measure”, launched last December to support companies with business interests in the United States. Two loans will enable as many companies to take part in international trade fairs focused on the US market, while the third supports a major investment in ecological and digital transition aimed at strengthening the company’s presence in North America.

“The USA Measure is a key instrument for safeguarding the interests of our companies in the United States and for creating new trade opportunities,” said the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Antonio Tajani. “In line with the objectives of the Export Action Plan, this new Measure provides concrete support to Italian companies seeking to grow and become more competitive in one of the most important markets for Italian exports”.

Disbursements under the other geographical measures are also continuing: EUR 7.2 million allocated to 9 operations under the “India Measure”; EUR 13.3 million for 29 projects under the “Latin America Measure” and EUR 42.4 million for 56 internationalisation initiatives under the “Africa Measure”.
