Conference of Italian Consuls in the World

(Foreign Ministry, June 12, 2026)

 

On June 12, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Antonio Tajani, will open the Conference of Italian Consuls in the World, a meeting of the Italian Consular Network worldwide. The aim is to explore topics such as the provision of consular services, assistance to Italian nationals, digital innovation, and the sharing of best practices among consular offices. Over 150 Consuls will participate.

1:30 – 2:30 p.m. SECOND SESSION – “The Consulate as Italian Municipality Abroad: Services and Solidarity”

2:30 – 3:30 p.m. Panel Discussion “Consular Services 3.0. From Best Practices to the Fast-It App”

3:45 – 4:45 p.m. THIRD SESSION – “Consular Assistance and the Role of the Honorary Consul”

Journalists, photographers and cameramen interested in covering the Conference, open to the press until 4:45 p.m., shall submit their accreditation request accreditation by Thursday, June 11, at 4:00 p.m. registering through the link https://portaleaccreditamento.esteri.it and attaching the required documents.

Those who have already registered on the online portal and have already received confirmation from the system that their registration has been accepted can access their profile and select to participate in the event.

Badges shall be picked up in person at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, main entrance, left side, on Friday, June 12, from 8:15 to 8:45 a.m.
