Preview of the “Grand Prix Storico di Roma“

On Friday, June 12, 2026, at 5:00 p.m., at the Piazzale della Farnesina, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Hon. Antonio Tajani, will participate in the Preview of the “Grand Prix Storico di Roma,” an initiative aimed at promoting the historical, cultural, and industrial heritage of Italian motorsport.
The initiative includes an exhibition of historic and prestigious Italian cars, including iconic models from Alfa Romeo, Ferrari, Maserati, Lamborghini, Lancia, Abarth, and Fiat, which have marked the history of national and international motorsport.
The exhibition on the Piazzale demonstrates the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ commitment to promoting Italian excellence worldwide and the production chains that underpin it. In the case of the motorsport Grand Prix, the vehicles on display are the result of a unique heritage of artisanal, manufacturing, and design skills that make the Made in Italy brand recognizable and appreciated globally. This synthesis of know-how, innovation, sporting culture, and national identity contributes to strengthening Italy’s international positioning and its image as a country of excellence.
The event, moderated by journalist Emilio Mancuso, will feature representatives of the Lazio Region, ACI Sport, the National Association of the Automotive Industry (ANFIA), and the Roman Motoring Pride Association, as well as entrepreneur Anna Fendi and racing driver Giordano Regazzoni.
The initiative will end with a speech by Hon. Maria Spena.
Journalists, photographers and cameramen interested in covering the event shall submit their accreditation request accreditation by Thursday, June 11, at 5:00 p.m. registering through the link https://portaleaccreditamento.esteri.it and attaching the required documents.
Those who have already registered on the online portal and have already received confirmation from the system that their registration has been accepted can access their profile and select to participate in the event.
