On 14 September, Palazzo Borromeo, the seat of the Italian Embassy to the Holy See, hosted the presentation of the book Questa è l’ora dell’amore. Il cuore alla parola, il volto al Prossimo. Percorsi di antropologia biblica (This is the Hour of Love. The Heart Attuned to the Word, the Face Turned Towards One’s Neighbour. Pathways in Biblical Anthropology) by Don Valerio Chiovaro.
The event, organised in collaboration with the Association Attendiamoci ODV ETS, opened with an official welcome from Ambassador Francesco Di Nitto, followed by addresses from Cardinal Pierbattista Pizzaballa, Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem and former Custos of the Holy Land from 2004 to 2016, and the book’s author, Don Valerio Chiovaro.
The event, attended by many representatives from the academic world, the Diplomatic Corps, media and civil society, was moderated by journalist and essayist Marina Valensise, a contributor to Il Foglio, Il Messaggero and Sette (Corriere della Sera), and former Director of the Italian Cultural Institute in Paris.
