The Undersecretary of State for Foreign Affairs, Massimo Dell’Utri, met today at the Farnesina with representatives of the Association of Italian Catholic Scouts and Guides (AGESCI) and a delegation of 29 young Ukrainian scout leaders.
The meeting took place as part of the “Building Bridges for Peace: Youth Scout Exchange between Italy and Ukraine” project, organised by AGESCI with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs through the 2026 Youth Exchanges Call for proposals. The project, which forms part of Italy’s wider commitment to Ukraine and its reconstruction, involves young people and promotes training activities, the exchange of experiences and educational resources. The focus is on strengthening human capital and the contribution of civil society and the voluntary sector to the country’s resilience.
Undersecretary Dell’Utri, while reaffirming Italy’s continued support for Ukraine, emphasised the importance of investing in the younger generations and of strengthening the ties between the civil societies of the two countries.
