Sistema Italia will be represented this year at the ‘Rebuild Ukraine Construction and Energy 2026’ trade fair and conference in Warsaw (12–13 November 2026) by 40 exhibiting companies spread across two national pavilions organised by ITA, alongside dozens of other companies and associations – including Confindustria – as well as the main institutional economic bodies working to promote internationalisation, such as SACE, CDP and Simest. This is the largest foreign investment after that from Germany, confirming that the Italian business community has identified the reconstruction of Ukraine as one of its main areas of activity for the future.
The meeting follows on from Sistema Italia’s strong participation in the Ukraine Recovery Conference held in Gdańsk in June 2026 and in the run-up to the forthcoming URC 2027, scheduled to take place in Tallinn (Estonia) at the end of January, for which ‘Rebuild Ukraine’ serves as a preparatory event. Italy’s participation is the result of the joint efforts of the Task Force for the Reconstruction of Ukraine, established within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which works in coordination with relevant government departments and agencies – including the ITA, which is responsible for the organisational aspects of the event – and the Interministerial Reconstruction Working Group. The Embassy in Warsaw will once again be organising a networking event for the Italian community on this occasion.
As part of the trade fair, the European Commission (DG Enest) will be organising the EU-Ukraine Investment Conference – the link to the programme is provided here – which will offer an opportunity to explore a range of issues relating to Ukraine’s resilience and reconstruction, with a focus on the housing and energy sectors, as well as on credit and insurance instruments. The programme for the Fair can be consulted at the following link.
The event will therefore provide a valuable opportunity not only for in-depth discussion but also for networking amongst Italian, Ukrainian and international companies, Ukrainian local authorities, and political and economic decisionmakers, with a view to showcasing Italian expertise and entrepreneurial spirit in support of Ukraine’s reconstruction.
