Press Accreditation Notice – Presentation of 4th edition of WeWorld Index Report (Farnesina, 18 April 2018)

The 4th edition of the WeWorld Index Report will be presented on 18 April at 11 a.m. at the Farnesina.

For four consecutive years, WeWorld Index has represented an important instrument to measure the level of inclusion of boys, girls, teenagers and women throughout the world. Supported by a series of indicators and, more importantly, a rich variety of interviews and testimonies, the Report depicts the situation of millions of girls, boys, teenagers and women who are prevented from living in a safe and healthy environment, full of educational, economic and social opportunities, free from violence and corruption, open to pluralism and to equal opportunities between men and women.

The WeWorld 2018 Report focuses on barriers to an inclusive and quality education in Italy and in the rest of the world.

The conference will open with remarks by the President of WeWorld, Marco Chiesara; Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Mario Giro; and Minister of Education, University and Research, Valeria Fedeli.

The event will be moderated by Director General for Development Cooperation, Giorgio Marrapodi.

Journalists, photographers and TV crews interested in following the opening session are requested to apply for accreditation in one of the following ways:
