Foreign Minister Luigi Di Maio is on a mission to China to attend the 2nd edition of China International Import Expo (CIIE) in Shanghai in which Italy is a Partner Country.
Today, Italy’s chief diplomat met with the Chinese State Councillor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi to make the best of Italy’s participation in the CIIE with 160 Italian companies and a national Pavilion dedicated to the promotion of Made in Italy products.
The two Government officials committed to foster the development of joint initiatives in China and in Third Markets and to remove tariff and non-tariff barriers with a view to simplifying access of Italian products to the Chinese market.
