‘Fare Cinema 2019’ – Italian Film Festival landed in Singapore where it will run until 7 June. Italian Ambassador to Singapore, Raffaele Langella, opened the event which was promoted by the local Italian Cultural Institute. Ambassador Langella said:”the event with its eleven films celebrates the best of contemporary Italian cinema, which has a tradition of excellence that allows it to keep on making remarkable productions and always be on the forefront.
This is due to several reasons, but I would like to mention only two and namely the sense of humour and a touch of irony that Italian directors never fail to use to bring their stories to an end.” World-acclaimed films such as Matteo Garrone’s “Dogman” and Paolo Virzi’s “Il Capitale Umano” will be among the films screened.
