Turkey: single help-desk for international investors opened in Istanbul
A new help-desk for international investors has been opened in the premises of the Istanbul office of the Development Agency. The announcement was made by the Turkish Minister of Development, Lütfi Elvan, who explained that the office will be dedicated to streamlining and speeding up bureaucratic procedures. The help-desk’s operating “one-stop office system” was developed in association with all the competent ministries and will enable international investors to manage all the procedures relative to authorizations, licences and labour contracts through a single desk. At present the new system is being experimented only in Istanbul but it will later be extended throughout Turkey and also to national investors.
