On 31 May 2016, a Convention was signed between the Foreign Ministry’s Legal Service for litigation and Treaty Law and the “Law Faculty” Department of the University of Trento. The Convention was signed, in representation of the Foreign Ministry by Plenipotentiary Minister Andrea Tiriticco, the director of the Service, and on behalf of the Law Department of the University of Trento, by Prof Giuseppe Nesi, the director of the Department. The Convention consolidates an already good long-standing cooperation. The Convention enables the Foreign Ministry to avail itself of the contribution of the highly qualified faculty of the Trento University’s Law Department, who are regularly classified at the top of national and international rankings. The Convention also provides for the law faculty to cooperate in the Ministry’s institutional activities and to develop scientific projects of common interest at national, European and international level. The Convention will be followed by an implementation agreement for the organisation of curricular internships for the best students at the Ministry’s Legal Service.
