The National Library of Malta and the Italian Cultural Institute of La Valletta will join forces to celebrate the 750th anniversary of the birth of Dante Alighieri on 24 September at 18:30 hours. The event will take place in the library’s lecture hall, where noted linguist Tullio De Mauro will inaugurate an exhibition of ancient books dedicated to the great poet. Guests will include Minister for Education and Labour of Malta Evarist Bartolo and Ambassador of Italy Giovanni Umberto De Vito. Read more, in Italian
