Montevideo will host two events in the coming days organised by the Italian Cultural Institute there and dedicated to the Milan Expo theme “Feed the Planet, Energy for Life”. On Tuesday 22 September Serena Wiederkehr and Mathias Britos, who moved to a farm on the outskirts of Montevideo a few years ago, will speak at the Italian Cultural Institute about their experiences “from theory to practice” in organic farming. The Institute will also host a meeting on Thursday 24 September on sustainable architecture entitled “Habitar la terra” with architects Fulvio Capurso (Italy) and Alejandro Ferreiro (Uruguay).
