The world’s most renowned Egyptologists will meet for the 11th international conference in Florence. Speakers at the 11th edition of the conference are to include Director of the Italian Cultural Institute of Cairo Paolo Sabbatini who, on 28 August, will speak before a plenary session on “Egyptology and diplomacy: Italians and the creation of great collections”. The event has been organised by the Tuscany Bureau of Archaeological Treasures and the Egyptian Museum of Florence, in collaboration with the University of Florence and the Center for Ancient Mediterranean and Near Eastern Studies.
