Italy-Poland: Della Vedova in Warsaw today and tomorrow

Under-Secretary for Foreign Affairs Benedetto Della Vedova will be in Poland today and tomorrow with a view to developing what are already excellent bilateral political and economic relations between Roma and Warsaw and as a follow up to Minister Gentiloni’s visit of 6 May last.
The under-secretary will meet with Polish Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for the Economy Januz Piechocinski, Under-Secretary of State for the Treasury Zdzislaw Gawlik and Under-Secretary for Parliamentary Affairs, European Policies and Human Rights Henryka Moscicka Dendys. Their talks will centre on principal bilateral economic issues and international dossiers, such as migration flow management, the Ukraine crisis and bolstering the EU’s external action through a strengthened Common Foreign and Security Policy.
During his visit, Della Vedova will also take part in the seminar “Direction Development – Economic Cooperation between Italy and Poland”, during which a KPMG Report on economic cooperation between Rome and Warsaw and on business and investment opportunities yet to be explored will be presented.
