Tasty events are being organised at the Italian Cultural Institute in Paris to promote tourism and Italian food and wine, not least in the run-up to EXPO Milan 2015. “Italians in the Kitchen” is a monthly initiative introduced in September 2013, when the Institute’s new kitchen opened its doors to visiting chefs, including Gianfranco Vissani, Davide Oldani, Massimo Bottura, Alfonso Iaccarino and Carlo Cracco.
Other events include the twice-monthly “Viaggio in Italia”, where Maria Greco Naccarato will describe and prepare some of Italy’s regional specialities and suggest possible tourist routes for visitors to sample them at first hand. Read more, in Italian.
